About the organisation

  • An association of ex-students of Jagannath Hall, University of Dhaka who are currently living in the UK
  • Started in 2007, JHAA UK became a charity organisation in 2013 and made significant achievements
  • JHAA UK continued to foster strong relationships among its members, not just within Bangladesh but at a global scale

10th Reunion Key Activities

  • To organise youth activities for young children to learn about sports, Bengali culture, and heritage & music.
  • To provide education, counselling and other support services for the people of the Bengali community
  • who are in need, including language instruction, job search programs, translation services and information programs on British culture and life.
  • To establish and maintain a Bengali community centre for the purpose of conducting Religious, Social, Education, Cultural and Performing Art activities consistent to the primary objective as stated above.
  • To organise talent development programme for youth
  • To organise group discussions regarding various issues among the senior citizen of the community in London.
  • To aid and console the senior citizens thorough home visits
  • To organise yoga classes., Organising excursion for children and elderly member to various historical places in UK- Assisting students of Jagannath Hall, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh irrespective of their current location.
