Fixed events
With pride and joy, JHAA UK arrange Christmas and Reunion event during December of every year. Members, their families and friends are invited to share a special evening with cultural program, speeches from senior members over foods and drinks. This is a great opportunity for the members of the organisation for yearly reunion to memorise the sweet time of Dhaka University and Jaganhanth Hall life. Children perform traditional Christmas carol to wish a very happy festive eve followed by performance from professional and renowned artists from UK.

Durga Puja
Durga Puja is also known as Durgostava. It is an annual Hindu festival originating in the Indian subcontinent. In this festival people revere and pay homage to the goddess, Durga. The festival is observed in the Indian calendar month of Ashwin, which corresponds to the months of September-October in the Gregorian calendar. It is a ten-day festival. The festival is marked by scripture recitations, performance arts, revelry, gift-giving, family visits, feasting, and public processions.
The Durga Puja festival arranged by Jagannath Hall Alumni Association is going to be a great event and a great way for a get-together, which increases unity and familiarity among us. It is a happy and festive event for us.

Borsho Boron
This event is to celebrate the first day of Bengali new year called Noboborso. We are sure you will certainly excited to be part of the Bengali cultural and ritual during this time if the year while living thousands miles away from the root. Cultural program highlighting traditional Bengali music, dance, drama, reciting from children and members families are the key attraction for this event.

Summer BBQ
Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK organizes a SUMMER BBQ PARTY. The event has always been a huge success. The event usually lasts for 6 hours. Almost all the members of Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK are usually present at this event. It is a joyful and fulfilling event that helped us get in touch with each other and increase the unity of Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK.

Ganesh Puja
Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK arranges Ganesh Puja every year since its establishment. Though it is religious event, festivals is for everyone and this point proved to be just right. This event has always turned out to be an huge success and was supported and attended by almost all the members of Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK. Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK organized this event at The Limes Centre, Limes Ave, Chigwell. This event consists of Puja, Prasad Distribution, Kirtan and Kids Activities.

Observance of Jagannath Hall tragedy day - 15 October 1985
On 15 October 1985, a tragic accident occurred when the roof of the ancient assembly building of Jagannath Hall collapsed. It killed 39 people, students, employees and guests. Since then the day is observed as a day of mourning for the university. Jagannath Hall Alumni Association UK mourns this day to pay tributes to the students and guests who lost their lives during that tragic collaspse of roof of one-storey building at the dormitory. As part of the Mourning Day's program, few speeches are arranged from the fellow victims who share their real experience as well.

Keeping our body fit is very important. Regular physical exercise is one of the best ways to keep our body fit. Yoga and meditation is one of the most popular physical and mental exercises. Jagannath Hall Alumni Association arranges yoga and meditation sessions. This activity has been proven very helpful for the members of Jagannath Hall Alumni Association.
